38 Korean companies and 14 buyers from 10 European countries including the U.K., Poland, Norway, Turkey, Romania, Lithuania, and Latvia participated in the conference. Major buyers such as Change Center, which distributes healthcare devices and health supplements in 16 European countries including Romania, and British distributor Novex Group took part in the meeting.

The CEO Eniko Szocs of Romania’s Change Center said, After the outbreak of COVID-19, awareness of Korean health supplements and healthcare products is gradually increasing in the European market. So, I am participating in this conference to source Korean quality products.

By reflecting the popularity of K-Wave in Europe, buyers showed great interest in Korean cosmetics and healthy food, and export consultations on various products such as healthcare devices, household goods, and lighting were carried out.

The Korea International Trade Association has been hosting online video export consultations every week since March with a view to supporting Korean companies struggling with export marketing due to the spread of coronavirus. The organization is planning to hold export consultations on 'Consumer Goods in American Market' on June 10 and ‘Expansion to New Southern Region’ on June 17 in cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The association is also working on joint conference with the Korea Creative Content Agency and World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (Workd-OKTA).
