KITA held “Video Conference on Exporting
Consumer Goods to Europe”

The Korea International Trade
Association (Chairman: Kim Young-ju) held “Video
Conference on Exporting Consumer Goods to Europe” at
COEX in Samseong-dong on June 3.
38 Korean companies and 14
buyers from 10 European countries including the U.K., Poland, Norway, Turkey,
Romania, Lithuania, and Latvia participated in the conference. Major buyers
such as Change Center, which distributes healthcare devices and health supplements
in 16 European countries including Romania, and British distributor Novex Group
took part in the meeting.
CEO Eniko Szocs of Romania’s Change Center said, “After the
outbreak of COVID-19, awareness of Korean health supplements and healthcare
products is gradually increasing in the European market. So, I am participating
in this conference to source Korean quality products.
reflecting the popularity of K-Wave in Europe, buyers showed great interest in
Korean cosmetics and healthy food, and export consultations on various products
such as healthcare devices, household goods, and lighting were carried out.
Korea International Trade Association has been hosting online video export
consultations every week since March with a view to supporting Korean companies
struggling with export marketing due to the spread of coronavirus. The
organization is planning to hold export consultations on 'Consumer Goods in
American Market' on June 10 and ‘Expansion to New Southern Region’ on June 17
in cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The association is also
working on joint conference with the Korea Creative Content Agency and World
Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (Workd-OKTA).
