    31st Senior Management Team Launched... To Strenghthen Future Export Capabilities including Digital Innovation

     

    - Expansion and reorganization of the Senior Management Team... Presenting a new direction for trade as a bridge between traditional and future industries, and large comapnies and SMEs -

     

    The 31st Korean International Trade Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) Senior Management Team officially launched.

     

    The Korea International Trade Association announced that it had held the first meeting of the Senior Management Team at the Trade Tower in Samseong-dong on May 11th and appointed 36 members, including 15 new members. The 31st Senior Management Team will represent the trade industry and lead discussions to come up with effective countermeasures for the discovery of future export industries, spread of digital innovation, and changes in the global distribtion caused by COVID-19 and the US-China trade conflicts.

     

    The newly appointed companies include media content exporters such as CJ ENM (broadcasting & contents) and Smilegate (games) and the representative companies in various fields such as Dongwon Group (foods), Donghwa Group (eco-friendly construction materials), and Infac Korea (electronics). South Korea’s leading trade companies such as LG International and GS Global will join in as well and expand coexistence and cooperation marketing campaigns with small and medium-sized enterprises.

     

    In addition, trade support agencies such as the Export-Import Bank, the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, and the Korea SMEs Startups Agency, and major associations such as the Korea Importers Association, the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association, and the Korea Venture Business Association are the members of the Senior Management Team of the Korea International Trade Association and will actively cooperate with the trade industry and resolve difficulties.

     

    Chairman Christopher Koo of the Korea International Trade Association, said “We formed the Senior Management Team by considering the bealance between traditional manufacturing and future export industries, experienced executives and next-generation young executives, large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises, and metropolitan area and local trade industries,” and added, “We will lead the digital innovation and new growth export industry with a diverse and balanced perspective, while establishing a new direction for Korea's trade and playing a role as a 'linker' to spreads it.”
