The
Korea International Trade Association (Chairman: Kim Young-ju) and the Ministry
of SMEs and Startups jointly launched a public-private consultative body for
Brand K, an accreditation system for
outstanding products developed by Korean SMEs, on December 16th at
COEX in Samsung-dong.
The inauguration ceremony was joined by Minister Park
Young-sun of MSS, Chairman Kim Young-ju of KITA, and 12 representatives from
organizations and companies that make up the consultative body including 11th
St, CJ E&M, and Lotte Home Shopping.
Chairman Kim Young-ju of KITA stated at the
inauguration ceremony, “KITA has been leading contactless oversea marketing
campaigns this year by hosting online meetings on export and producing new
media contents for Brand K enterprises. We will not spare any effort in
supporting Brand K products and helping them become representative Korean products
by working with the government, related organizations, and enterprises.”
