The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman: Kim Young-ju) and the Chamber of Commerce in the 5 Mekong Countries ? Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia ? held an online meeting on June 2nd to discuss the establishment of “Korea-Mekong Entrepreneur Council.”

This is the first regular event of the council since its establishment was decided by KITA and the Chamber of Commerce from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia when they met at “The 1st Korea-Mekong Summit Talk,” which took place in Busan in November 2019.

Chairman Kim Young-ju of KITA, President Vu Tien Loc of VCCI, President Zaw Min Win of UMFCCI, Vice Chairman Arin Jira of FTI and many other leaders of economic organizations attended the meeting to discuss joint business opportunities and the future operation of the council for local market entries, vitalization of economic interactions, and economic co-development among Korea and the 5 Mekong countries.
